The RER B schedule should be maintained for 2025 after the agreement between Alstom and RATP

Alston has reached an agreement with the Ile-de-France region to execute the contract for new RER B trains, half of which will come back to it through Bombardier Transport. Alston, which became the owner of Bombardier in January 2021, had terminated the contract on the grounds that it would not be technically and financially viable. This agreement provides for the production of 146 MI20 double-decker trains for an amount of 2.56 billion euros. And whose load capacity will allow the transport of around 30% of additional users per day.
