LA DEFENSE 2050: A UNPRECEDENTED VISION OF 5 INVESTORS TO TRANSFORM THE LEADING BUSINESS DISTRICT OF LA DEFENSE

5 historical investors of La Défense ( Allianz France , AXA Investment Managers , Groupama Immobilier, Société Générale , Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield ) unveiled their strategic, urban and programmatic vision to transform the business district, in the presence of 300 investors, companies, personalities of the territory, as well as the President of the Department of Hauts-de-Seine and Paris La Défense Georges Siffredi and the prefect Alexandre Brugère. This unveiling is the result of a year of work with a team of recognized personalities, architects, urban planners, historians, neuroscientists, economists, lawyers, futurists, communicators.

• A strategic vision : to make La Défense the European hub of innovation, around two major AI and climate clusters, a “Campus La Défense” brand, the creation of the Incubator and the Open University of La Défense, 115,000 ^m2 dedicated to campus life.
• An urban and architectural vision : a master plan on the scale of the district created by Atelier SOIL, a New Parvis which is both an event venue and a village square at the foot of the Grande Arche designed by 2Portzamparc & Associés , the Forum, a new multimodal heart by Syvil architectures , an Adventure Garden proposed by Atelier SOIL, La Défense sur Seine which is both a pedestrian bridge and a development of the river banks designed by Maud Caubet Architectes.
• A programmatic vision : to turn the million square meters that will be obsolete within 10 years into an opportunity, by converting 275,000m2 of ^offices into new uses in 10 years.
