NEGATIVE OPINION OF THE COMMISSION OF INQUIRY ON THE EXTENSION OF LINE 1

The public inquiry commission issued a unanimous unfavorable opinion on the extension of metro line 1 from Château de Vincennes to Val de Fontenay. This 5 km extension was to benefit 95,000 daily passengers. The cost of the project, 1.7 billion is considered "excessive" for 3 new stations and the commission remains very critical.
